EN Paysages variés - an exhibition of photographic works by Norbert Ketter and Raymond Clement. "Landscape" plays a predominant role in the work of both artist-photographers. The selection of photographs on show will stimulate an intense dialogue that will enable visitors to discover the individual artistic and technical approaches of the two pioneers of art photography in Luxembourg. Nobert Ketter was a pupil of Dr Otto Steinert, creator of "Subjektive Fotografie". Raymond Clement has successfully brought together analogue photography and contemporary digital photography.

As part of the exhibition, a concert by the Kammerata Luxembourg will be held on 2 March 2024 at 8pm, featuring compositions by Olivier Messiaen, György Kurtág, Galina Ustvolskaya, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mel Bonis and Igor Stravinsky. Post-Romantic and 20th-century chamber music will be revisited from a different angle by the improviser Maurice Clement at the piano. At the same time, innovative projections of photographs by Norbert Ketter and Raymond Clement will give a clearer idea of an expressive evolution in the form of "variation".

FR Paysages variés – une exposition d’oeuvres photograhiques de Norbert Ketter et de Raymond Clement. Dans l’oeuvre des deux artistes-photographes le « paysage » joue un rôle prédominant. La sélection des photos présentées animera un dialogue intense qui permettra de découvrir les approches artistiques et techniques individuelles des deux pionniers de la photographie d’art au Luxembourg. Nobert Ketter fut un élève du Dr Otto Steinert, créateur de la « Subjektive Fotografie ». Raymond Clement a su rapprocher avec conséquence la photographie analogue à la photographie digitale contemporaine.

Dans le cadre de l’exposition aura lieu le 2 mars 2024 à 20h00 un concert de la Kammerata Luxembourg présentant des compositions d’Olivier Messiaen, György Kurtág, Galina Ustvolskaya, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Mel Bonis et Igor Stravinsky. La musique de chambre du post-romantisme et du XXe siècle sera revue sous un autre angle par l’improvisateur Maurice Clement au piano. En parallèle, des projections innovantes de photos de Norbert Ketter et Raymond Clement permettront de mieux percevoir une évolution expressive en forme de « variation ».
